Bueno Foods
Albuquerque, New Mexico
I am an owner and senior manager at Bueno Foods for 33 years. Bueno is a 68 year old family owned New Mexico manufacturing company specializing in authentic New Mexican foods. We offer premium frozen roasted green chile, frozen red chile puree made from New Mexico grown red chile pods, tamales, enchiladas, rellenos, and sauces based on old family recipes and all made from New Mexico and Hatch certified chile, and premium flour and corn tortillas including organic and non-GMO products. I am one of 3 founders of the NMCA and have presided over the organization for over 7 year, currently an officer of the organization. My roots run deep; I am a 13th generation New Mexican. My grandmother’s family grew and sold chile in the Hatch area in the mid-1800’s and we continue that tradition as one of the largest buyers and processors of New Mexico and Hatch Certified Chile. Most importantly, I eat New Mexico chile at least once a day.
